The split comes after weeks of speculation, with fans noticing changes on social media. A recent check by Gistreel revealed that Seyi Vibez has unfollowed Dapper on Instagram and updated his bio to “Independent artist.” Similarly, Dapper has also unfollowed Seyi Vibez, indicating a mutual and amicable separation between the artist and Dapper Music.
Seyi Vibez, who gained widespread recognition in 2020 with his hit single “Double Chance,” has been one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising stars. Despite rumors of rivalry, Ayra Starr recently shared that she featured Seyi Vibez on her album 19 and Dangerous, acknowledging his talent and rising influence in the industry.
With this new chapter in his career, Seyi Vibez is expected to continue his successful run in the Nigerian music scene, this time as an independent artist.
