Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, through her foundation, the Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Foundation (NAUF), has initiated a scholarship program aimed at alleviating the educational challenges faced by indigent students in Kogi Central.
The ₦24 million Educational Intervention Fund, announced in a statement personally signed by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, will be disbursed in monthly installments of ₦2 million over the course of the next 12 months. The foundation has committed to ensuring transparency and accountability by publishing the list of beneficiaries.
To be eligible for Senator Natasha Akpoti scholarship:
- Be a student of a public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Hail from Kogi Central or have been a resident for at least 10 years.
- Be verified by the NAUF EDUIFUND Team as poor and vulnerable.
- Submit an application letter either via email or to Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s constituency office in their respective Local Government Area (LGA).
- Not have been a previous beneficiary of the NAUF EDUIFUND in the same calendar year of application.
To access the NAUF Eduifund, applicants should follow these steps:
- Submit an application letter to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s constituency office located in their respective Local Government Area.
- Attach photocopies of the following documents: certificate of origin, admission letter, school ID card (if available), proof of request claim, a copy of passport photograph, and any other relevant documents supporting the application.
- Applications can be sent via email to the designated email addresses provided for each LGA office.
