Bola Tinubu Condemns Attack on Nigerian Army Officers, Vows Justice for Victims

President Bola Tinubu has issued a statement condemning the recent attack in Okuama community, Delta State, which resulted in the death of 22 officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army.

Tinubu clarified that the soldiers were deployed on a peace mission to address a crisis between Okuama and Okoloba when the attack occurred.

Expressing outrage over the incident, Tinubu pledged to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice and emphasized the importance of maintaining peace across the nation.

“Our Armed Forces play a critical role in our nation’s stability and security. Any assault on them is an assault on the integrity of our nation,” Tinubu asserted in the statement.

He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to pursuing justice for the fallen soldiers and upholding peace in all regions of the country.
