PIDOM Nigeria: Police Declare Journalist David Hundeyin Wanted

The Nigerian Police Force has issued a wanted notice for David Hundeyin, the Editor-in-Chief of West Africa Weekly. This development is linked to the ongoing prosecution of Isaac Bristol, who stands accused of running the prominent anonymous whistleblower account PIDOM Nigeria.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by Force Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi. Bristol is facing serious charges including money laundering, cybercrime, and the unlawful dissemination of classified documents. He has been arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja and is currently detained at Kuje Correctional Centre.

In addition to Hundeyin, the police have also named Michael Temidayo Alade as an alleged accomplice in this case. Hundeyin, a renowned investigative journalist known for his work on exposing corruption and human rights abuses, has reportedly gone into exile to evade potential persecution by Nigerian authorities.
