The Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon. Amoka Eneji Monday, has reaffirmed his commitment to education by donating two office spaces to the Ihima Student Union in Oboroke.

Hon. Amoka, represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Matthew James Omeiza, made the announcement during the inauguration of the new Ihima Student Union Executive Council and the unveiling of their secretariat. He emphasized the importance of unity and skill acquisition in empowering students for the future.

“This generous gesture provides a converging point for Ihima students, enabling effective representation and fostering a sense of community,” Hon. Amoka stated.

The oath of office was administered by Hon. Rafael, a respected Judge from the Okene Magistrate Court. Following the ceremony, student leaders expressed gratitude to Hon. Amoka for his continuous support, vowing to implement his programs effectively.

Reaffirming his commitment to student welfare and education, Hon. Amoka added:

“As long as you prioritize your education and maintain peace, I will continue to guide and support you.”

In further demonstration of his dedication to education, Hon. Amoka also pledged to provide the Eika Student Association with a national secretariat in Obangede.

Several top government functionaries were present at the event, including:

  • Hon. Adams Ozi Aganyi, PA Admin to the Chairman
  • Hon. Adams Adorere, SA Security
  • Hon. Olu Avete, Okehi Revenue Officer

The initiative reinforces the Okehi LG Chairman’s commitment to education, student empowerment, and community development.
