Ododo Presents 4 Additional SUVs to High Court Judges in Kogi State
Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has delivered four more SUV vehicles to the state’s judiciary, bringing the total to 37 SUVs provided for newly elevated judges. This initiative aligns with the administration’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing the welfare of Kogi State’s judges and judicial staff.

During the presentation at the High Court premises in Lokoja, Governor Ododo, represented by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Muiz Abdullahi (SAN), praised the judiciary’s role in maintaining safety in the state. The four additional vehicles complement the 33 SUV cars previously distributed to judges across the state.
Governor Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to supporting the judiciary, emphasizing that this is just the beginning, with more initiatives planned to enhance the welfare of judges, particularly those at lower courts.
In response, the Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Josiah Majebi, expressed gratitude for the governor’s unwavering commitment to the judiciary. He highlighted that the governor’s efforts in uplifting the judiciary, especially within the past four months, have been unprecedented. Justice Majebi also revealed that plans are underway to renovate courts across the state, further enhancing the judicial system.
