Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Menk has become a trending topic on Nigerian social media following his recent encounter with popular skit maker Taaooma. Taaooma, whose real name is Maryam Apaokagi, shared a series of photos capturing the moment she met Mufti Menk and the subsequent reactions, causing a stir online.
In her post, Taaooma disclosed an interesting exchange with the Islamic cleric. She revealed that when she asked for a selfie with Mufti Menk, he opted to place a bag between them, explaining that he did so out of consideration for his wife.
However, when another man joined for a photo, Mufti Menk appeared more accommodating, standing in closer proximity to him than to Taaooma. The revelation shared by Taaooma has sparked discussions and reactions within the Nigerian social media community.
