Civil servants in Kogi State have expressed their appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo following the payment of October salaries, which reflect the newly implemented minimum wage of ₦72,500. Engr. Sunday Baba, Director of Civil Engineering at the Ministry of Works, was one of the many civil servants who received the updated salary alert on October 23, 2024. He commended the governor’s administration for this substantial development, attributing the wage increase to what he described as “an act of divinity upon humanity.”

Baba highlighted that this move by Governor Ododo would further motivate Kogi civil servants, boosting their morale and overall standard of living. He pledged that workers across the state would continue to support the administration, recognizing its commitment to improving their welfare.
