Ibrahim assured the public of the association’s commitment to dealing firmly with any member engaging in such activities. He emphasized that the union would not tolerate the sale of beef from rustled cattle in the market.

In response to the allegations, the association promptly formed a committee to investigate the involvement of its members in cattle rustling and the sale of beef from stolen cows to customers. The committee’s findings led to the indefinite suspension of members found to be involved.

Ibrahim reiterated the union’s dedication to ensuring the safety of consumers, particularly in guaranteeing the availability of healthy beef in the market. The move reflects the association’s proactive approach to maintaining the integrity of their trade and upholding ethical standards within their ranks.
