The Kogi State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointments of chairman and commissioner nominees for the Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC) and the Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC).

For the KSERC, the confirmed nominees are:
- Engr. Abdussalam Yusuf, Ph.D. – Commissioner, Market Competition and Rates (MCR)
- Prof. Abdukarim Ibrahim – Commissioner, Legal
- Meliga Enema Michael – Commissioner, Evaluation, Performance, and Monitoring (EPM)
- Alhaji Mohammed Mabo Kassim – Secretary
For the FRC, the nominees are:
- Mr. Jimoh Muhammed Adinoyi – Chairman (Central)
- Engr. Ayowande Pemi – Member (West)
- Mr. Yahaya Drisu – Member (East)
- Muhammed Musa – Member (Central)
- Ayodeji Emmanuel – Secretary
The confirmation took place during a plenary session at the Assembly Complex in Lokoja, following a screening held by the Committee of the Whole. The nominees were granted the courtesy of “Bow and Leave” as the Assembly mourned the passing of its former Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Paul Enema, who represented the Dekina-Okura State Constituency.
Speaker Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf urged the newly confirmed nominees to utilize their expertise and resources to improve electricity supply and ensure efficient service delivery in the state. He also emphasized their responsibility to contribute to the development of the commissions and enhance their impact on the lives of Kogi State residents.
