INTERPOL Clarifies Role of Red Notices

INTERPOL emphasized that Red Notices are not international arrest warrants. Instead, they serve as requests for law enforcement agencies worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest suspects pending extradition or other legal processes.

“A Red Notice is a request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action,” INTERPOL stated.

Call for Public Assistance

INTERPOL has urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of these individuals to report to their local police authorities.
