The Nigerian government has raised concerns over the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran and announced plans to evacuate Nigerian citizens currently residing in Lebanon. The decision comes after Iran launched hundreds of missiles at Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Israel’s military spokesperson, Daniel Hagari, pledged swift retaliation for what he described as a “serious attack.” This follows an earlier incident in April, when Iran launched over 300 drones and missiles targeting Israel.
