Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a bit about our adventure with Ebira Online Media. We’ve become a name many recognize, but it hasn’t been all smooth sailing. Our Facebook page, with a cool 40k followers, got deactivated in 2022, and Facebook and Google weren’t exactly our biggest fans. They started flagging anything related to Ebira Online (Media), making our reach drop big time. Since the beginning, we’ve been all about sharing our thoughts on things like Religion, Politics, Ebira History, and Entertainment.

I am happy to share with you that Ebira Online Media has helped so many students we can’t count in their research papers and school projects with our articles, that’s huge for a project that started as a hobby.

The trouble began in 2019 when we wrote a history piece on “Ihima.” Even though the piece was true but some people doesn’t want it posted. Can’t spill all the details, but it got us reported on Facebook. Our 12k active Facebook page took a hit, but it was back up and running in 2023 unfortunately with limited reach.

Now, the Ebira entertainment scene isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. Some folks had issues because we supported people they weren’t fans of, and even big artists accused us of playing favorites. It’s all about putting the Ebira Community on the map for us, but not everyone sees it that way.

The whole drama between Yahaya Bello and Natasha in politics added another layer to our journey. Through it all, we decided not to depend solely on social media or Google to keep going strong.

I just want to take a moment to thank each one of you, our supporters worldwide. Big shoutout to the brands we’ve teamed up with, and most importantly, to you, our readers. The fact that many Ebira people now go straight to ebiraonline.com.ng to read our stuff is a massive win.

Thank you, everyone! If you’re up for it, you can still follow us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube channel. Your support means the world to us as we keep this journey going.

Cheers,
Yakubu Binuyaminu Adeiza.
