Chidimma Adetshina Won Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 Out of Pity, Not Merit - Verydarkman (Video)

Controversial critic, Verydarkman, has expressed his disapproval of Chidimma Adetshina’s recent win at the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant, claiming that her victory was based on pity rather than merit.

Chidimma, a South African model with Nigerian roots, faced intense backlash during her participation in the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant, ultimately leading to her withdrawal from the competition. Despite this, she went on to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, where she emerged as the winner among 24 contestants, representing Taraba State.

In a recent video, Verydarkman voiced his concerns over the outcome of the competition, arguing that Chidimma’s win undermines the efforts of other contestants who had been preparing for the pageant all year. He criticized the decision, stating, “Because the girl had some issues in South Africa, you invited her to Nigeria to become Miss Universe. What about the people who have been preparing for this for a long time? You gave it to her out of pity, not merit; this is not fair.”

Verydarkman also pointed out that Chidimma was unable to speak the language of the state she represented, questioning her connection to Nigeria. He suggested that her victory was largely due to the challenges she faced in South Africa, rather than her performance in the competition.
