Ahmed Ododo, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, has vowed to establish an agricultural free trade zone in Okunland if elected in the upcoming November 11 election.
He made this announcement during the APC zonal campaign rally held in Kabba, the headquarters of Kogi West Senatorial District.
Ododo emphasized that the establishment of the agricultural free trade zone would promote agro-based processing for export purposes, leading to accelerated social infrastructure development in the region.
He also outlined plans for a significant public works program aimed at rehabilitating major roads in Okunland, providing employment opportunities for at least 500 young individuals from the zone within the first 100 days of his administration.
Additionally, Ododo expressed his commitment to running an all-inclusive government, underscoring his dedication to fostering development and prosperity in Kogi State.
