
The Kogi State Ministry of Education has announced that the data capturing process for the 2024/2025 West African Examination Council (WAEC) registration will commence on Monday, January 13, 2025.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday in Lokoja by Mrs. Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer for the Kogi State Ministry of Education.
The statement urged principals of public secondary schools across the state to prepare for visits by teams from the consultants handling the data capturing process. The exercise aims to collect accurate student data in preparation for the upcoming WAEC examinations.
Mrs. Moraiyewa emphasized the importance of cooperation from all stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient exercise.
“This is to bring to the notice of all Public Secondary School Principals that teams from the Consultant handling WAEC DATA CAPTURING will be visiting schools starting from Monday, 13th of January, 2025, for the data capturing of their students. Please, we seek your total cooperation for a seamless exercise,” the statement read.
Principals and other stakeholders have been encouraged to offer their full support to facilitate the process effectively.
