A 19-year-old female student in Ekiti has been caught attempting to poison her lover with Sniper, a highly toxic rat poison, in a plot to steal his car, phones, laptops, and other valuables.
According to reports, the 100-level student allegedly laced a bottle of table water with the poison and offered it to her unsuspecting partner. However, her plan was discovered before she could carry it out.
What makes the case even more chilling is that she had written down her plan in a coded “To-Do” list, which was later decoded by investigators. Some of the cryptic entries included:
- “Get a P” – Get a poison.
- “Learn how to D” – Learn how to drive.
- “Take two P & L & D” – Take two phones and laptops and drive.
- “><> to help finalise” – Allegedly a code to complete the plan.
- “Buy the P by morning” – Buy the poison by morning.
Additionally, the word “Herbalist” was found on the list, raising further suspicions about potential involvement in diabolical practices.
Authorities are currently investigating the case, and further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
